Real Madrid keeping tabs on Napoli midfielder

Real Madrid have scouted Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz ahead of a potential summer move.

The Spaniard was on target last night as he put up an impressive display against Brescia in an important Serie A clash.

According to Football Espana, Madrid’s senior scouts were in attendance last night to witness Ruiz in action. The 23-year-old scored the winning goal, helping Partenopei pick up important three points against Brescia.

Ruiz has been impressive of late as he also scored the decisive goal against Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final clash.

It is also understood that the Spaniard has also been watched by arch-rivals Barcelona.

The ex-Real Betis star has made 21 appearances in Serie A this season, racking up 2 goals and 2 assists. He endured a brilliant campaign with the Spanish national side, helping them win the Euro U-21 title last year.

Los Blancos have been linked with a flurry of midfielders including the likes of Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba and Marcelo Brozovic.
