Inter Milan want to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Inter Milan could reportedly step up their interest in signing Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the summer transfer window.
Aubameyang has been key to the Gunners' success in the frontline in recent years and in the current campaign, he is the joint top-scorer in the Premier League with 17 goals.
According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are anticipating the departure of Lautaro Martinez this summer with Barcelona prepared to meet the striker's £92m release clause.
The same publication cites that the San Siro outfit will use most of the transfer funds recouped to sign a new striker and Aubameyang is one of their prime transfer targets.
The 30-year-old has just 17 months on his contract with the Gunners and that has presented doubts whether he would remain with the club beyond the summer.
Aubameyang has recently stated that he is committed to the north London side but the board may consider his departure, should he remain reluctant to sign a fresh deal by the end of the season.
