Sanchez wants permanent Inter move

Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez remains hopeful of sealing a permanent contract with Inter Milan at the end of the current campaign.

The Chilean joined the Nerazzurri on loan from the Red Devils last summer and he has since made just 13 appearances in all competitions.

In this period, he has contributed only one goal and three assists and has spent most of the time on the sidelines with a troublesome ankle problem.

As such, there have been claims that Nerazzurri won't look to sign Sanchez permanently in the summer but the 31-year-old remains optimistic about his chances of sealing a long-term deal.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Arsenal man is determined to prove himself with the Nerazzurri and he is hopeful that he can do enough between now and May to convince Antonio Conte's to change their mind.

Sanchez is presently contracted to United until the summer of 2022. He has contributed just five goals from his 45 appearances for the club and it is likely that he will be sold regardless of Inter's decision this summer.
