Atletico Madrid interested in Chelsea ace

Atletico Madrid have reportedly expressed their interest in signing Chelsea winger Willian.

The soon-to-become free agent is tipped to leave the Stamford Bridge this summer.

According to the Sun, Atletico have added the Brazilian to their shopping list and also said to have had talks with him.

The Rojiblancos could land the 31-year-old for free this summer as Frank Lampard’s side are planning to offload an array of players, with Willian amongst them.

The Blues are also reportedly eyeing a move for Atleti goalkeeper Jan Oblak whom they want in a swap deal for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Diego Simeone's side has so far had mixed fortunes this season, having been average in La Liga while defeating Liverpool in the UCL knockouts.

Following the win against the Reds, Atletico are looking confident as they were able to drub Villareal 3-1 at Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico’s attack has been below par this season as marquee signing Joao Felix has failed to hit the ground running. Alvaro Morata has been poor with his finishing while Angel Correa turns out to be Simeone’s trump card.
