Juventus in advanced talks with Manchester United star

Juventus are reportedly in advanced talks with the agent of Paul Pogba as they seek to re-sign the Manchester United midfielder at the end of the season.

Pogba has been with the Red Devils for the past three-and-a-half years and during this period, has made 102 league appearances, contributing 24 goals and 25 assists.

In the current season, he has been restricted to just seven league appearances due to nagging ankle injuries and amidst this, agent Mino Raiola has talked up the midfielder's desire to leave Old Trafford.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are 'far ahead' in the contract talks with the midfielder and they are soon expected to begin negotiations with United over the transfer fee.

United have apparently lowered the Frenchman's price tag from £148m to just £86m after barely featuring for the club during the course of the current campaign.

Pogba's current deal effectively runs until the summer of 2022 but he is likely to be offloaded by United in the near future as he has no intention of signing a new contract.
