Serie A duo AS Roma and AC Milan are reportedly interested in Rangers full-back Borna Barisic.

The Croat was a target for the Rossoneri in the January transfer window before they brought back Diego Laxalt from Torino.

According to SempreMilan, both Roma and Milan have scouted the 27-year-old during the Gers' clash against Braga in the Europa League.

It has also been reported that Barisic would seek an exit from the Ibrox Stadium this summer after the doubts presented by his agent.

The Croatian left-back has been quite impressive for Steven Gerrard’s side this season, racking up a total of 2 goals and 14 assists in all competitions. His debut season with the Light Blues was hampered by a calf injury.

Milan are having a robust left-back in Theo Hernandez while Giallorossi have Alexsandar Kolarov and Leanardo Spinazzola. It remains to be seen where Barisic would end up next season, should he opt to leave the Scottish Premiership.
