Real Madrid to make fresh move for Manchester United star
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to make a renewed attempt to sign midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu last summer after he suggested that he would prefer a fresh challenge away from United.
However, a deal did not materialise before the transfer deadline but there continues to remain speculation over the midfielder's future, given his contract expires in two year's time.
According to Don Balon, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is still keen on signing his fellow countryman and believes the 26-year-old would fit perfectly into his midfield plans.
The Madrid giants are said to be eyeing a replacement for Luka Modric in their ranks and they are hopeful that Pogba will push for a departure from United when the transfer window reopens.
Pogba is on the cusp of returning to regular training after his ankle surgery. While he continues to be linked with a summer departure, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently stated that he expects the midfield to stay next term.
