Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba would reportedly be angry with the club if they decide to trigger the extension clause present on his contract.
The Frenchman has been tipped to head through the exit door this summer with Real Madrid and former club Juventus interested in signing him.
Pogba's current deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of next season but the club have the option of extending his stay for another 12 months if needed.
According to Sport, Pogba is keen on a move away from the Red Devils and his relationship with the club could worsen, suppose they extend his contract.
Super-agent Mino Raiola has publicly stated that the midfielder wants to pursue a fresh challenge and this has created a distance between him and the United hierarchy.
Still, he is expected to hold talks with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in the coming months and reports claim that United may eventually sanction the midfielder's sale.
