West Ham United eyeing shock move for Manchester United star
West Ham United have reportedly made contact with the representative of Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean has struggled to live up to his expectations since his move away from Arsenal in January 2018 and he is presently on a season-long loan at Inter Milan.
Sanchez is likely to return to Old Trafford this summer after the frustrating stint with the Nerazzurri where he has failed to make a mark following an ankle injury in the first half of the season.
According to Sport Witness, the Hammers hold an interest in signing the former Arsenal attacker and they have asked for information through his agent Fernando Felicevich.
Still, the east London outfit have a major stumbling block in terms of the player's £350,000-a-week wages and they will require the forward to take a paycut to seal a summer transfer.
Sanchez has more than two years remaining on his existing deal with the Mancunian giants. Of late, he has been linked with a probable return to Chile with ex-club Colo-Colo.
