Tottenham Hotspur keen on sealing deal for Chelsea goalkeeping target
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly very interested in signing goalkeeper Andre Onana, who has also been linked with Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The north London side are likely to enter the market for a new shot-stopper during the summer, particularly with Hugo Lloris struggling with injuries and form over the past year.
According to Sport, Spurs are seriously looking at the prospect of signing Onana, who is understood to be keen on a move to the English capital.
Onana was previously touted to make the switch to Stamford Bridge but that may entirely depend on whether the Blues part ways with Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Arrizabalaga had come under criticism from the fans for his average distribution and goalkeeping but he managed to redeem himself before the coronavirus shutdown with a couple of top-notch displays.
As such, it appears more likely that he could stay put with the Blues and that could pave the way for Spurs to sign Onana, who has kept 15 clean sheets from 39 appearances for Ajax this term.
