Arsenal interested in Spanish striker?
Arsenal have reportedly enquired over the possibility of signing Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The Gunners could part ways with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the near future, given he has been reluctant to extend his contract beyond the summer of 2021.
On the other hand, Alexandre Lacazette has recently been linked with a possible departure from the Gunners as he does not suit the plans of manager Mikel Arteta.
As a result, the club are bracing themselves for the departure of the front duo and Sport claims that Moreno is one of the players being targeted to strengthen the strikeforce.
The Spaniard does not possess an overly impressive scoring record with just 19 goals since the start of the previous campaign but he has been a quality distributor with 21 assists in the same period.
Moreno currently has a buy-out clause of around £102m but reports claim that Valencia could be tempted to sanction his sale for £50m during the next transfer window.
