Chelsea looking to sign Real Madrid winger
Chelsea have been fancied to make an approach for Lucas Vazquez, whose contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of next season.
The Spain international has made over 200 appearances in his Los Blancos career but he has struggled for gametime this season with just eight starts under Zinedine Zidane.
According to Todofichajes, Vazquez would prefer to remain at the Bernabeu next season but the hierarchy are likely to consider his sale as they have no plans of extending his contract beyond the 2020/21 campaign.
Vazquez will turn 29 in the coming months but he has been identified as a valuable addition for Frank Lampard's side, who will lose both Pedro and Willian at the expiry of their respective contracts this summer.
Pedro has recently been linked with a Serie A move with AS Roma while Real Betis are also keen on signing him. Willian, on the other hand, is likely to remain in the Premier League with Arsenal and Tottenham vying for his services.
