Willian dismisses Tottenham Hotspur move
According to ESPN journalist Joao Castelo-Branco, Willian has denied any verbal agreement to join Tottenham Hotspur when his Chelsea contract expires during the summer.
The Brazil international has been tipped to leave the Blues at the end of the season after he recently confirmed that the club have refused to meet his demands for a three-year extension.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in his services but it was recently claimed by BeIN Sports that the attacker has an agreement to join the former.
This has, however, been declined by the player himself and journalist Castelo-Branco revealed the same through an update on his official Twitter account.
"Willian completely denies rumour that Mourinho has been in touch recently regarding playing for Tottenham. Absolutely no deal even close there," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, he added that Arsenal are still the favourites to sign the former Shakhtar Donetsk man, who has bagged seven goals and six assists in the Premier League this term.
