Man United step up Grealish interest

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are planning to make at least three signings during the off-season and Grealish has been earmarked as one of their prime transfer targets.

According to The Sun, the Mancunian giants are prepared to step up their interest in the 24-year-old attacker as they seek to finalise a transfer agreement by the season conclusion.

Grealish has impressed since the Villains return to the top-flight this term and he has amassed seven goals and six assists from 26 Premier League appearances.

The west Midlands outfit currently value their skipper at around £70m but it is claimed that United could land him for around £50m, if the Villains are relegated from the top-flight at the end of the season.

Grealish has generally played on the left wing for the Villains this term but he is more than capable of playing in the attacking or central midfield positions.
