Serie A giants propose swap deal with Arsenal for Aubameyang
Serie A giants Inter Milan are prepared to offer Mauro Icardi in a straight-swap deal to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal this summer.
Aubameyang has been reluctant to extend his Gunners contract beyond June 2021 and it appears that he could be heading through the exit door when the transfer window reopens.
It was recently cited that the Nerazzurri could make a straight-cash offer for the Gabon international but given the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, they are now looking into a possible exchange deal.
It is added that they are willing to offer Icardi in a swap agreement for Aubameyang, though it is unclear whether the Gunners would be interested in signing the Argentine.
Icardi was loaned out to Paris Saint-Germain this term after Antonio Conte made it aware that he has no future at San Siro. He has contributed 20 goals and four assists from 31 outings for the French champions.
