Manchester United determined to sign 24-year-old midfielder
Manchester United are planning an approach to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish irrespective of whether Paul Pogba remains with the club or not.
Grealish has been earmarked as one of the club's main target for the summer transfer window and it has been suggested that he could be available for around £70m.
The asking price could reduce to £50m in the case of Villa's relegation and The Express claims that the Red Devils are prepared to step up their interest in the midfielder.
Grealish has been in good form for the west Midlands outfit since their promotion to the top-flight last year and he has bagged seven goals and six assists from 26 league outings.
It was previously indicated that his arrival may be dependent on Pogba leaving Old Trafford but that does not appear the case any longer with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to work with him.
Grealish has also been on the radar of Everton and West Ham United but the Red Devils are currently regarded as the overwhelming favourites to land his services.
