Arsenal enter the race to sign Croatian ace
Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas during the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old has been a regular for Besiktas over the past two years and he has made close to 90 appearances for the club across all competitions.
However, the Istanbul outfit are said to be open to cashing in on his services this summer, primarily due to his current salary package.
Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion have recently been credited with an interest but Aksam claims that they could face competition from the Gunners.
The north London side were planning a busy summer transfer window as part of the rebuild under Mikel Arteta but that has been hampered by the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Still, they are likely to back the Spaniard with some funds to add new signings and Vida has apparently emerged as an option due to the affordable £8.95m price tag.
The Croatian has two years remaining on his existing deal at Besikas.
