Arsenal and Manchester United could be offered the chance to sign Samuel Umtiti for a knockdown price from Barcelona this summer.

The 26-year-old has struggled with persistent knee injuries over the past 18 months and that has limited his playing time with the Blaugrana.

Clement Lenglet is now regarded as the regular central defensive partner for Gerard Pique and it has been suggested for a while that Umtiti could move on from the club.

According to Sport, the Blaugrana are likely to consider the sale of Umtiti when the transfer window reopens and he could be available for a reduced fee of around £27m.

It is added that Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are among those, who have been monitoring his situation and could come up with bids to land his signature.

The Gunners are aiming to sign a centre-back in order to shore up their leaky defence. United, meanwhile, are said to be eyeing another option to partner Harry Maguire with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not entirely convinced with Victor Lindelof's displays.
