Arsenal looking into deal for ex-PSG graduate
Arsenal are reportedly looking into a deal for Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen amid the growing concerns that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may leave the club this summer.
Aubameyang's contract with the club expires at the end of next season and reports have claimed that they could be compelled to sell him in the coming months unless he signs an extension.
The forward has shown no intention of signing the renewal to date and Football.London claims the 30-year-old could be sold to the club with the best proposal in the next transfer window.
The same outlet suggests that Diaby has been identified as a suitable replacement for Aubameyang and the Gunners have already initiated talks with the player's representative.
Diaby is generally a left winger by trade and he has caught the eye with his impressive dribbling and crossing abilities. He has bagged five goals and eight assists for Leverkusen following his move from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Leverkusen are not looking at the prospect of selling their young attacker but reports claim that a transfer package of around £27m will tempt them to sanction his departure.
