Manchester United keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid attacker
Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the situation of Atletico Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman joined the La Liga outfit from AS Monaco a couple of years ago but he has since endured a difficult spell with just three goals coming from his 67 appearances.
This has led to the speculation that he could be offloaded by the club and reports have recently claimed that he could make the switch to Arsenal in a straight-cash deal involving Alexandre Lacazette.
According to AS, United are keeping a close eye on the player's proceedings and may consider making an offer, suppose Atletico signal the intention to part ways with the 24-year-old.
Lemar, who won the 2018 World Cup with France, has more than three years remaining on his existing Atletico contract. He was the subject of a £90m bid from the Gunners in August 2017 but his former club Monaco turned down the offer as they had no time to pursue a replacement.
