Spanish outfit want to sign Chelsea goalkeeper
Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga could be offered the chance to return to the Spanish top-flight this summer amid the interest from Valencia.
The La Liga outfit are bracing for the departure of Jasper Cillessen to Ajax this summer and Mundo Deportivo claims that they are likely to pursue a high-profile replacement.
It is added that they would prefer a shot-stopper with valuable La Liga experience and Arrizabalaga is one of the players on their radar amid suggestions that he is unsettled at Chelsea.
The Blues bought the Spaniard for a world-record £72m fee for a goalkeeper two years ago but they are unlikely to receive a similar sum under the current financial climate.
Meanwhile, Valencia have no plans of making a permanent move for the 25-year-old and reports suggest that they will propose a season-long loan agreement with the option to buy for around £50m.
Arrizabalaga was dropped for six straight games by Frank Lampard earlier this year but he was able to return to the lineup to face Liverpool and Everton prior to the coronavirus shutdown.
