Man United make transfer decision on Philippe Coutinho

Manchester United are understood to have declined the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho on a season-long loan from Barcelona, ESPN reports.
The Brazilian is expected to return from his temporary stint at Bayern Munich this summer but he is unlikely to stay with the Blaugrana next season.
According to ESPN, the Blaugrana are prepared to loan out Coutinho for another season and they have offered his services to the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and United.
The Gunners and Spurs are reluctant to make a move due to the player's £250,000-a-week wages but United are quite clear that they are not interested in signing the former Liverpool man.
The Red Devils have sorted their number 10 concerns with the purchase of Bruno Fernandes during the January transfer window and there seems no necessity for another player in the position.
Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira are some of the backup options available to the manager for the role and the duo appear likely to remain with the club beyond the summer.
