Dembele on Arsenal radar

Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Lyon regarding the possibility of signing Moussa Dembele during this summer's transfer window.

The north London side are likely to part ways with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the end of the season, considering he has remained reluctant to extend his contract beyond June 2021.

As a result, the club are already on the look out for a possible replacement and L'Equipe claims that the capital outfit have enquired with Les Gones over a possible summer deal for Dembele.

In response, they have been quoted a £60m price tag for the marksman and it is reported that they are unlikely to meet the valuation due to their financial constraints as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Aside from the Gunners, Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the former Celtic man. They are reluctant to make a formal bid for the striker unless Les Gones reduce their price tag to around £42m.

The 23-year-old has more than three years remaining on his contract with Lyon. He has bagged 23 goals for the club cross all competitions this term.
