Arsenal quoted price to sign Gabriel Magalhaes

Arsenal have reportedly been informed that they need to pay a fee of around £27m in order to secure the services of Gabriel Magalhaes.

The Brazilian has enhanced his reputation while playing for Lille in the French top-flight and he has been touted to leave the club for a bigger challenge this summer.

Chelsea, Real Madrid and Everton have been linked with the player's services this year but Le 10 Sport claims that the Gunners are leading the race to sign the central defender.

Lille are currently facing a financial crisis with the abrupt end to the league season because of the coronavirus pandemic and they are expected to part ways with a couple of first-team stars to overcome their burden.

Magalhaes has been tipped to leave the club for a while and it is reported that the Gunners could sign him, if they are willing to meet the £27m price tag for the centre-back.

Mikel Arteta's side are also keen on landing the signature of Victor Osimhen from the French outfit. The Nigerian has been identified as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
