Timo Werner open to Manchester United transfer?

Timo Werner could reportedly consider a move to Manchester United this summer, suppose Liverpool pull out of the race to land his signature.
The Germany international has been tipped to leave RB Leipzig at the end of the season and Jurgen Klopp's side have been touted as the favourites to sign him.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the marksman is keen on a move to Anfield this summer and he is prepared to wait for an approach from the Merseyside giants.
However, he claimed that the 24-year-old may consider proposals from other interested clubs, suppose the Reds give up in their pursuit of his services.
United and Chelsea have both been credited with an interest in recent weeks and the former are prepared to meet the player's £52m release clause.
In comparison, the Reds are only willing to pay around £30m for Werner as they are concerned over a £100m shortfall over the next 12 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Werner has been in stupendous form for Leipzig this term. He has bagged a sublime tally of 30 goals and 12 assists from 39 appearances across all competitions.
