James heading out on loan?

Manchester United could reportedly consider loaning out Daniel James for the 2020/21 campaign, suppose they land the signature of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

The Wales international joined the Red Devils from Swansea City for £15m last summer and he made an immediate impact with three goals from his opening four Premier League games.

He has since failed to find the back of the net in the league but has come up with six assists and has remained a regular for the Red Devils in the starting lineup.

According to The Sun, the club are planning to reward James with a new and improved deal for the progress made and will consider loaning him out, if Sancho makes the switch to Old Trafford.

Leeds United have been credited with an interest in the versatile attacker, having previously failed to sign him on a permanent basis from the Swans in January 2019.

Their chances of signing him could be enhanced, if they are able to secure promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year hiatus. They are currently at the top of the Championship standings.
