Manchester United agree personal terms with Jadon Sancho
Manchester United are understood to have finalised personal terms with Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho ahead of a possible summer transfer.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this year, but the club have yet to make a formal bid to acquire his services.
Still, they are working on the deal behind the scenes and according to Ian McGarry of Transfer Window Podcast, a verbal agreement has been reached over the contract package with Sancho.
Sancho has been assured an initial salary of around £140,000-a-week and his wages would rise to £200,000-a-week over the course of a five-year contract with the club.
Still, the Red Devils need to find an agreement with Dortmund over the transfer fee and that won't be an easy task with the German side unlikely to reconsider their price tag.
Dortmund are currently said to value Sancho at £100m, but United are reluctant to pay more than £50m citing the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
