Spanish midfielder sees his future at Liverpool

Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara is reportedly determined to make the move to Liverpool at the end of the campaign.

The Spaniard has only 11 months remaining on his Bayern deal and he is expected to be sold this summer after turning down an extension.

The Reds have been heavily linked with his services over the past few weeks but so far, they have not made an attempt to land his signature, as things stand.

According to German outlet Abendzeitung, Thiago is keen on taking up a fresh challenge in the Premier League and sees his future at Anfield despite the reported interest from fierce rivals Manchester United.

The same publication cites that the Merseyside giants remain optimistic of negotiating the transfer fee for the 29-year-old, who started his career with Barcelona. 

Bayern are said to demand around £32m for the former La Masia graduate, but the Reds are hopeful of reducing the initial package by adding performance-based bonuses.
