Arsenal still positive of signing Chelsea star

According to ESPN Brasil, Mikel Arteta's side are still positive about their chances of signing Willian, who has bagged 11 goals and nine assists for the Blues this term.

Willian has been holding out for a three-year contract extension at Chelsea, but the west London giants have made it clear that they won't prolong his stay for more than two seasons.

The Gunners were prepared to pay him as much as £250,000-a-week before the coronavirus outbreak, but their financial outlook has changed with the losses incurred due to the unexpected pandemic.
