Borussia Dortmund set Jadon Sancho transfer deadline

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly informed Manchester United that they have until August 10 to land the signature of Jadon Sancho.

The England international has been heavily tipped to join the Red Devils this summer, but the club have yet to meet the asking price.

According to BILD, Dortmund are said to demand £109m for the versatile attacker and they are unwilling to reduce their price tag.

It is added that United have been informed about the same and they must meet the valuation by August 10 or Sancho will remain at Dortmund next term.

The German transfer window does not close until October 5 this year, but Dortmund want a settle squad in the lead up to the new season.

The Bundesliga campaign is set to restart from September 18. The club have already signed Thomas Meunier and Jude Bellingham this summer.

They are unlikely to make more signings unless Sancho heads for the exit door. It remains to be seen whether United will meet their demands.
