Manchester United open to Jesse Lingard sale?
Manchester United are hoping to receive transfer proposals for Jesse Lingard based on his performances in the Europa League next month.
Lingard has struggled for playing time since the season resumption in June and he has been restricted to only three appearances in all competitions.
According to The Times, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to use a weakened team for next month's Europa League campaign and Lingard is set to feature regularly from the starting XI.
A number of clubs including Everton and West Ham United are keeping tabs on Lingard and United are hoping to attract more interest, suppose the attacker is able to impress in the competition.
The Red Devils are expected to qualify for the quarter-final stage of the Europa League following their comfortable 5-0 win over LASK in the first leg of the round of 16.
Solskjaer's side are scheduled to host the Austrian outfit in the second leg at Old Trafford on August 5. They will face either Copenhagen or Istanbul Basaksehir in the single-legged quarter-final in Germany.
