Chelsea set Kepa Arrizabalaga asking price
Chelsea are prepared to accept the permanent sale of Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer, should any club make an offer of £50m.
The Spaniard became the world's most expensive goalkeeper in 2018 after the Blues spent £72m to sign him from Athletic Bilbao.
However, he has failed to justify the price tag during his time at the club and he was recently dropped by Frank Lampard for his average performances.
The Blues are aware that they are unlikely to recoup the entire fee paid for Kepa, but the board are still looking for at least £50m to sanction his sale.
According to The Mail, the west London side would prefer to part ways with the shot-stopper on a permanent basis, but won't be against temporary bids.
Valencia are currently monitoring Kepa's situation. They have a good chance of landing him on loan, provided they accept to pay the majority of his £150,000-a-week wages.
Kepa is expected to feature on the bench when Chelsea take on Arsenal in the FA Cup final on Saturday. Willy Caballero is set to start between the sticks.
