Ole Gunnar Solskjaer fears Manchester United may miss out on Jadon Sancho's signature due to the lack of progress in the negotiations.

The Englishman has been identified as the prime target for the Red Devils, but they are currently far off from meeting Dortmund's £109m price tag.

United are currently reluctant to pay more than £50m due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, but Dortmund are not prepared to offer any discount on the player.

According to ESPN, Solskjaer is concerned with the negotiation tactic used by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and fears the club may miss out on signing the forward this summer.

United tried to bargain on the transfer fee for Harry Maguire from Leicester City last summer, but they eventually bowed to the Foxes demands as they paid £80m.

They may find themselves in a similar situation this summer, but don't have much time to ponder. Dortmund want Sancho's future to be sorted out by August 10.
