Alexis Sanchez to leave Manchester United for free
Manchester United have accepted the release of Alexis Sanchez and the Chilean will make the move to Inter Milan on a permanent three-year contract.
The Chilean has spent the current season on loan with the Nerazzurri and he has been in good form following the lockdown with two goals and nine assists from 12 matches.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils have been able to reach an agreement with Sanchez over the termination of his contract, which expires in June 2022.
It is added that Inter will hand the Chilean with a three-year deal worth £6m-a-year. United will make nothing out of the move, but they will get the player's staggering salary off their wage bill.
United are expected to save around £40m with Sanchez's exit and that should put them in a good position to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Following the agreement, Sanchez has been included in Inter's Europa League squad and he could face Manchester United in the final of the competition.
