Arsenal set to sign Chelsea star on a three-year deal
Arsenal are set to land the signature of Willian on a three-year deal once his release from Chelsea is confirmed, The Telegraph reports.
The Brazilian's current deal with the Blues expires after their Champions League campaign and he is unlikely to put pen-to-paper on a fresh deal.
Willian has been insistent that he wants a three-year contract extension, but the Blues have refused to meet his demand over the past few months.
According to The Telegraph, the Brazil international will make the switch across the English capital in the upcoming days.
It is added that the Gunners are ready to sign him for three seasons with the option of another 12 months, should he impress.
The 31-year-old is likely to earn a 10 percent hike on his current £120,000-a-week wages while the club will also pay him a signing-on fee.
The move for Willian is expected to end their interest in signing Philippe Coutinho on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
