Chelsea standing firm on midfielder's asking price

Tiemoue Bakayoko news

Chelsea won't reconsider Bakayoko price tag

Chelsea are reportedly reluctant to reconsider their asking price for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko amid the interest from AC Milan.

The Frenchman has been with the Blues since the summer of 2017 when he made the move from AS Monaco with much fanfare.

After a disappointing debut season, he has spent the past two seasons on loan with Milan and Monaco and he has been tipped to leave the Blues on a permanent basis this summer.

The Rossoneri are keen on landing his signature on a long-term deal, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims that they won't have any room for negotiation as the Blues won't reduce their £19m price tag.

Bakayoko is prepared to take a paycut of 50 percent to rejoin the San Siro outfit and it remains to be seen whether the Italian side are willing to meet the valuation.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest and they are likely to pounce on his signature, suppose the Rossoneri fail to seal the deal with the Blues.
