Chelsea open to selling Tammy Abraham?

Abraham's Chelsea future in doubt?

Chelsea could be prepared to part ways with Tammy Abraham as manager Frank Lampard has been left unconvinced by the development of the striker.

The 22-year-old started the season in excellent form and he was able to contribute 14 goals for the Blues before the turn of the year.

However, he has been far from impressive since with just three more goals to his tally. He has found himself playing second fiddle to Olivier Giroud and there are doubts whether he can reclaim a starting place.

With the arrival of Timo Werner, he could fall further down the pecking order and Football Insider claims that Abraham could be sold during the current transfer window.

He still has three years remaining on his contract after the one-year extension earlier last month, but his lack of productivity in the final third is said to concern the Blues.

The west London giants are planning to offload as many as 10 players this summer in order to fund most of the summer transfer business for Lampard. Kepa Arrizabalaga is among those linked with an exit.
