Manchester United make transfer decision on Daniel James
Manchester United have no plans of parting ways with Daniel James despite the interest from Leeds United, Manchester Evening News claims.
The Wales international joined the Red Devils from Swansea City last summer and he had a decent debut season where he contributed four goals and seven assists from 46 appearances.
James was a regular starter during the first half of the previous campaign, but his gametime reduced following the turn of the year with the emergence of Mason Greenwood.
In recent weeks, he has been linked with a potential move to Leeds, but Manchester Evening News claims that United have no plans of sanctioning his departure this summer.
Meanwhile, James also has no concerns with the club's decision and he is prepared to fight for his position. The Welshman was recently picked ahead of Greenwood for the season opener against Crystal Palace.
He could not make an impact, however, as the Red Devils suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford. Wilfried Zaha starred against his former club with a brace.
