Jovic keen on Man United move

Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic is reportedly keen on joining Manchester United on loan before the transfer window closes.

The Red Devils have recently stepped up the hunt for a new striker and it has been claimed that Edinson Cavani and Jovic are their main targets.

The latter could be available on a season-long loan and The Star reports that he is eager to make the switch to Old Trafford.

Jovic has been unable to cement a regular starting role at the Bernabeu due to the presence of Karim Benzema as the first-choice striker.

He is keen to revive his career with a temporary move elsewhere and his agent has recently made contact with United over a possible deal.

Jovic has made only four league starts for the Spanish champions since his move from Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2019 summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has played second fiddle to Benzema, who has been the undisputed starter under Zinedine Zidane. He has previously been on the radar of Chelsea.
