Bayern Munich make loan plus £70m buy offer for Chelsea star

Bayern Munich have made an ambitious bid to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea before the transfer window closes on Monday.

The England international has struggled for regular gametime under Frank Lampard and he has made only eight league starts over the past year.

Hence, there has been much speculation regarding his future and it is now revealed that they have made an approach to sign him on loan.

It is added that the European champions have proposed the option to buy him for £70m at the end of the current campaign.

The Blues are expected to turn down the offer and it will be interesting to see whether Bayern come up with a renewed bid.

Bayern may have to include an obligatory buy-clause such that they can convince the Blues to part ways with their graduate.

Hudson-Odoi is eager to join the Bundesliga holders, but he won't force through an exit before the transfer deadline on Monday afternoon.
