Ousmane Dembele agrees to join Manchester United
Manchester United are reportedly on the cusp of signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona.
The Red Devils have been heavily fancied to sign Jadon Sancho in recent months, but a deal has failed to materialise due to Borussia Dortmund's reluctance to reduce their £108m asking price.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have recently agreed to sign young winger Amad Traore from Atalanta BC, but the transfer won't go through until January due to work permit and passport issues.
It now appears that they are close to wrapping up a deal for Dembele. According to Duncan Castles, the 2018 World Cup winner has agreed to join the club and they are now in advanced negotiations with the Blaugrana over the fee.
The Frenchman is likely to join the Mancunian giants on loan with the option to buy at the end of the campaign. It is reported that the Blaugrana could demand a fee of around £10m for the temporary deal this term.
