Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has talked up the dream of playing for Real Madrid at some point of time.

The Frenchman rejoined the Red Devils on a club-record deal from Juventus four years ago and he has since made 161 appearances across all competitions.

His best phase came during the 2018/19 season where he scored 16 goals, but he has since struggled for consistency which has led to criticism from fans.

Pogba's current deal with the Red Devils expires at the end of next season, but the club have the option to extend his stay for another 12 months.

Talks over a possible renewal are on hold at the moment and speaking to RMC Sport, Pogba has opened the possibility of joining Los Blancos.

"Zidane? We all heard it, things were said. My reply? Yes, every football player would like to play at Real Madrid. It may be a dream. It's a dream for me, why not one day," He told RMC Sport.

In the same interview, he added that he is happy with his current situation at Old Trafford and is looking forward to taking the club back to where they belong.
