Predicted Man United lineup vs Chelsea

Manchester United are scheduled to host Chelsea in the Premier League this afternoon. The Red Devils are winless in four home matches and they will be aiming to put things right against the Blues.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea has been the undisputed goalkeeper for the Red Devils and he has recently proved his worth with quality saves. He is expected to start between the sticks.

In the defence, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are expected to feature in the right and left-back positions. At the heart of the backline, Victor Lindelof should be accompanied by Harry Maguire, who has recovered from a minor injury.

In the midfield, Fred and Scott McTominay should keep their places ahead of Paul Pogba and summer signing Donny van de Beek. The duo produced a top display in midweek as United beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 on the road in the Champions League.

Further forward, Bruno Fernandes should take up the attacking midfield position. Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, who has recovered from a minor niggle, should feature on the flanks and there could be a debut for Edinson Cavani upfront.

Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-3-3): David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Fred, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes; Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford
