Liverpool interested in signing Bundesliga winger
Liverpool are understood to hold an interest in signing Marcus Thuram following his impressive displays for Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Frenchman has been in fine form for the Bundesliga outfit this term and he has already bagged three goals and four assists from eight appearances.
He recently bagged a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League, but that was not sufficient for the win as Los Blancos sealed a late 2-2 draw.
According to AS, the Reds are unlikely to make any new purchases in January and will wait until next summer for a spending spree.
It is added that Thuram is one of the players under consideration, having been a consistent performer since his move from Guingamp last summer.
Marcus, who is the son of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, has scored 17 goals and assisted a further 13 from 47 appearances for Marco Rose's side.
He still has more than two years remaining on his contract, but Monchengladbach could sell him at the right price next summer.
