Folarin Balogun hints at new Arsenal contract?
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has dropped a potential hint that he could be prepared to sign a new long-term deal with the club.
The 19-year-old was the subject of interest from the likes of Brighton and Sheffield United during the summer, but the Gunners refused to sell him.
His current deal expires at the end of the season, but he has hinted that he could be willing to extend his stay with the club.
"A real honour to make my debut tonight. Thank you to everyone for the messages! Journey is just beginning," He wrote on Twitter.
Balogun failed to make his debut for the north London giants last term despite impressing for the development squad.
He finally for his chance as a substitute in the 3-0 win over Dundalk in the Europa League and could earn more chances in the competition.
His contract situation will be interesting to watch in the coming months. The Gunners could sell him, suppose he does not renew his deal by early January.
