Giggs' in shock Sunderland link

Welsh midfielder Ryan Giggs has reportedly been offered the chance to join his ex-team mate Roy Keane at Sunderland. Giggsy is coming towards the end of his career but the Black Cats' chief is ready to give him a regular spot in the Sunderland first team.

34 year old Giggs is out of contract at the end of next season and apparently Niall Quinn is ready to allow Giggs a final pay day of around £50,000 a week to join the Stadium of Light outfit.

Giggs already earns around £70,000 a week at Man United, but the lure of a two year deal at Sunderland could prove more appealing for the Welsh winger.
