Everton are prepared to make a bid of around £10m to land Arkadiusz Milik during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old striker has not made a single appearance for Napoli this term after turning down the chance to extend his contract beyond next summer.

He was linked with a summer move to the Premier League, but a deal did not materialise as both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton were unwilling to meet the £20m price tag.

The Poland international will enter the final six months of his contract in January and The Sun reports that the Toffees are hopeful of landing his services for a fee of around £10m.

Carlo Ancelotti has previously managed the Pole at Napoli and he is said to be keen on a reunion, considering the Toffees lack a solid back-up option behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Milik has bagged 48 goals from 122 appearances for Napoli. He is expected to leave the club in January, considering the lack of gametime could see him miss the European Championships with Poland next summer.
