Arsenal priced out of move for Brazilian starlet
Arsenal are unlikely to make a move for Sao Paulo attacker Brenner after learning of the asking price.
The 20-year-old has made good progress over the past year with the Brazilian outfit and he has contributed 19 goals from 39 appearances.
According to Globo Esporte, the youngster is attracting plenty of interest from European sides and that includes the likes of Arsenal, Ajax and Juventus.
It is added that the Gunners, in particular, are unlikely to follow up their initial enquiry after learning that Sao Paulo won't sell for anything less than the player's £44.5m release clause.
The Gunners have struggled to find the cutting edge in front of goal this term and they have scored just nine times from their first eight games of the new Premier League season.
The capital outfit are likely to pursue reinforcements in January, but their focus mainly lies on signing an attacking midfielder instead of another striker or winger.
