Tottenham Hotspur to rival Arsenal for £23m playmaker
Tottenham Hotspur are set to compete with the likes of Arsenal and RB Leipzig to sign Dominik Szoboszlai.
The midfielder is regarded as one of Europe's brightest young midfielders and he has registered five goals and nine assists from 13 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg this term.
Meanwhile, he has also proved an important player for the national side and he recently bagged a stunning stoppage-time winner against Iceland in the Euro 2020 play-offs.
According to Football.London, the 20-year-old could leave Salzburg as early as the January transfer window after it was known that he has a £23m release clause on his contract.
Arsenal and Leipzig are among the main contenders to sign him, but it is claimed that Spurs have also joined the player's pursuit ahead of the winter transfer window.
Spurs have made a bright start to the league season where they are just one point behind leaders Leicester City. They are scheduled to host Manchester City this weekend.
