Everton enter race to sign 23m-rated midfield star
Everton have reportedly joined the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to sign Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 20-year-old has made a huge impact during his time at Red Bull Salzburg and he has registered 22 goals and 33 assists from only 74 games.
This has caught the eye of Europe's elite clubs and they have recently been made aware of the £23m release clause on his contract.
According to 90min, the Toffees are one of the sides monitoring his progress and they could make an ambitious attempt to sign him in January.
The Merseyside outfit made a huge improvement in the midfield this summer with the arrivals of Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan and James Rodriguez.
The arrival of Szoboszlai this winter would be another big statement signing, but it remains to be seen whether the Hungarian is tempted to join them.
Szoboszlai's agent has recently revealed the transfer interest from Arsenal. He added that the Bundesliga would be the midfielder's preferred destination.
